The Open Day ceremony was held on March 13, 2011, by the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies. During this event the Faculty Dean and the Departments Heads represented general information about the Faculty, study directions, main achievements, etc. to the potential students. Dr. Ihor Paliy, AUS Director, presented the American-Ukrainian School of Computer Science including study details, student capabilities and so on.

During the second part of the ceremony the Faculty students held a concert with interesting numbers: ballroom and modern dances, songs, poetry and others. Some AUS students were involved in the concert and performed Ukrainian song.
